Get to Know Our Veterinary Team
We are dedicated to your pet’s care. We look forward to getting to know you and hope you’ll take the time to scroll down and get to know us.
Courtney Norris
Veterinary Technician
Courtney is one of our up-and-coming veterinary technicians who joined us all the way from Maryland. She and her jaunty canine sidekick, Frank, bravely headed south in search of a new adventure. After getting her paws wet at another local clinic, Courtney followed her instincts and found her way to us when she was ready for a change.
We’re thrilled to have her on our team and proud to be part of her journey as she continues to sharpen her tech skills. When she’s not caring for patients, Courtney enjoys exploring everything Bay County has to offer—Frank very much included.
Karter Berens
Veterinary Technician
Karter is a Bozeman graduate who cultivated her love of animals through the school’s agriscience track. She juggles classes at Gulf Coast State College with part-time work at North Bay as a veterinary technician, and even picks up regular shifts as a lifeguard—clearly no stranger to staying afloat.
Despite her full schedule, Karter’s pawsitive attitude and cheerful outlook brighten our days. At home, she happily dotes on her fur crew—Sugar, Buck, Diesel, and Rocky—who keep her busy (and well-loved) off the clock.
Kim Page
Receptionist
Kim—affectionately known as “Kimstin”—first dipped her paws into the veterinary world at Animal Care Center in Panama City Beach before joining the North Bay family in October 2019. Originally from Virginia, she has called Panama City home since 1995.
Kim is the proud mom of two young people: a son who’s recently launched into full-on adulting, and a daughter who’s busy finding her own path. Her furry household members include dogs Rocco (aka Fatty) and Neecy (aka Nee-Bear), along with cats Cujo, the domesticated menace, DeVille (think) and Da Willow, professional towel terrorizer.
When she manages to find downtime, Kim’s favorite activity is doing absolutely nothing—though she also enjoys tattoos, time with friends, and mowing the pastures (and mowing… and mowing…). She lovingly describes our team as having “put the fun in dysfunctional,” and if that’s the case, she’s proudly leading the charge as our Front Office Manager. We truly wouldn’t have it any other way.
Stevie
Stevie first came to North Bay Animal Hospital as a charity case donated over the fence into the backyard of a staff member at the tender estimated age of 6-ish months. The obvious deficiencies in her eyesight inspired the staff to name her Stevie… as in Wonder. The original intention was to find her a home of her own, but once the extent of her defective vision was realized, her North Bay family became so selective about her placement that she ended up staying at the clinic. Like Lucy, food is a major motivator for Stevie because you would never expect a blind cat to be able to run full tilt from the front office, down the hallway, around two corners, and into her kennel without running into one wall (only feeding time). Prior to Hurricane Michael, she had a bit of a health scare; her chest X-rays showed possible lung lesions, and she began having issues with appetite and weight loss.
When Hurricane Michael walloped Bay County, her North Bay family was very concerned for her well-being. With no electricity at the clinic, she claimed refugee status in the office manager’s house and staged an amazing come-back. To this day she still travels to and from the office with the manager, and she shares her space with a family of humans. She only puts up with the two canines living with her in the refugee camp because they were there first, and the silly humans seem to like them.
Dr. Robert ‘Bo’ Bergloff
DVM
Dr. Bo grew up in Bradenton, Florida, where he attended Manatee High School. After graduating in 1988, he set his sights on Auburn—though a combination of budget realities and a little divine intervention led him first to Troy University in Alabama. He graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree… and a fiancée. The following year, he married April.
Dr. Bo eventually fulfilled his Auburn dream, earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. After gaining valuable “real-world” experience in veterinary medicine in Alabama, he and his growing family made their way to Lynn Haven and proudly became the owners of North Bay Animal Hospital in 2007.
For nearly two decades, Dr. Bo has helped Bay County pets live their best lives while he and April guided their three children into adulthood—who are now off pursuing adventures of their own. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Bo enjoys fishing (not always catching!), boating, and admiring classic cars.
Dr. Allie Asbury
DVM
Growing up in Knoxville, Dr. Asbury experienced a formative moment that inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine—one she followed all the way through the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine and, ultimately, all the way down to Lynn Haven to join the North Bay Animal Hospital team. It means a great deal to us that she chose North Bay to spread her veterinary wings.
Dr. Asbury is a true credit to her alma mater. The compassion, care, and attention she brings to her patients—and to the people who love them—are a testament not only to her education, but to the kind of veterinarian she is. At home, she’s kept on her toes by her fur family: Mars, a Cane Corso with a big bark and an even bigger scaredy-cat streak, along with feline companions Chunky and Tobasco. We’re thrilled to be part of her professional journey from day one.

Lauren Boyer
Receptionist
Lauren spotted our “Coming Soon” banner and knew it was her cue to call about openings. After years in marketing, she was ready to return to her roots behind the desk—and we happily welcomed her to the front lines of North Bay reception in March 2025.
She expertly keeps our clinic running smoothly, all while juggling her family at home, including Fluff the cat and Lincoln the dog. Let’s be honest—our team (and our clients) hit the jackpot having her at the front desk!
Mayson Causby
Veterinary Technician
Mayson joined our team in August 2020 after relocating from Georgia, bringing three years of experience with her. We’ve enjoyed helping her grow and refine her skills, and she hopes to one day specialize in dentistry or pathology.
Her home crew includes pups Bowser and Maelie, and cats Me-mow and Calcifurr. A self-proclaimed cinephile, Mayson enjoys movie time in her downtime and appreciates being part of a close-knit team that helps make every day a little easier.

Angela Cox
Veterinary Technician
Angela arrived at North Bay under highly suspicious circumstances—after what we can only assume was an alien abduction. When she was returned to Earth, she had absolutely no memory of her former life, so we named her Angela (because she descended like an angel from the sky) and Cox, after where she was found wandering on Cox Road in Southport. Despite our nationwide milk-carton campaign, her original identity remains a mystery. The truth is out there.
We are thrilled to have Angela as part of the North Bay family. Along with her stellar veterinary skills, she possesses jaw-dropping acrobatic abilities—the U.S. gymnastics team has yet to return her calls—and is a freshly crowned champion yodeler. In her downtime, Angela enjoys playing ding-dong ditch, defying gravity, and preparing for her upcoming starring role in a locally produced musical based on the trials and tribulations of a young Calamity Jane.
Whether she’s from another planet or just another dimension, we’re glad she crash-landed here.
Dr. Caitlyn Franklin
DVM
Dr. Franklin grew up locally and is a proud graduate of Mosley High School. Fun fact: our lead technician, Renee, worked alongside Dr. Franklin before she became a doctor—at another local clinic! After completing her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, Dr. Franklin made (according to Dr. Bo) the right choice and attended veterinary school at Auburn University, graduating in 2017.
She returned to Bay County in search of a clinic to call home, taking a brief detour in Crawfordville before finding her forever clinic family at North Bay in 2022. We’re incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Franklin on our team, and her down-to-earth, compassionate approach to veterinary medicine is appreciated by clients and colleagues alike.
At home, Dr. Franklin is happily outnumbered by her furry pride and joy: cats Gina, Goose, Maverick, and Sealee, along with Costa, her Australian Cattle Dog—and favorite breed. There are chickens and plants too…we won’t reveal the quantity, we’ll just say she has a very full house.
Renee Wilson
Lead Technician
Renee brings with her a deep well of knowledge and experience, with over 20 years in veterinary medicine. She’s worked as a veterinary technician across all facets of general practice and even brings specialty experience in cardiology. Her professional passions lie in pain management and heart health—because she truly cares about what makes patients tick.
Had veterinary medicine not claimed her, she may have taken a very different trail into forensic science. At home, Renee and her husband, Art, stay busy with their two-legged crew—son Elijah and daughter Kaleigh—and an impressive furry entourage. Lola and Token hold down the “dog team,” while Toothless, Hiccup, and Mango rule the “cat team.”
When she’s not in the clinic, you might spot Renee at a car show, proudly displaying her award-winning violet beast. She values the balance and connection within our team, describing it as more family than coworkers—and we’re incredibly lucky to have her skills, leadership, and steady presence contributing to our team.
Mayson Causby
Veterinary Technician
Mayson joined our team in August of 2020 after moving from Georgia. She came to us with 3 years of experience and we are excited to have helped her grow and hone her skills. She aims to continue her professional growth to one day include a specialty in either dentistry or pathology. She shares her home life with two doggos, Bowser and Maelie, kitties Me-mow and Calcifurr (new addition,) and Gertrude the Golden Frog. As a self-professed cinephile, you’ll catch her enjoying movies in her downtime. She enjoys the tight-knit group our team is creating, knowing they all help make the day easier.
Jennifer Sullivan
Veterinary Technician
Jennifer is a 17-year vet med pro and licensed veterinary technician (LVT) who first caught the animal-care bug in Tennessee. After many years serving Bay County through Spay Bay, we finally wore her down (nicely) and welcomed her to our team in May 2022.
She’s a big believer in the power of proper pet nutrition and is always hungry to learn more. When she’s off the clock, Jennifer can be found reading or wrangling her impressive fur crew: dogs Shelfred, Apollo, Penny, and Sheffield, plus cats Avalon, Ziva, Charlie, Ducky, Jimmy, and Bob—a full house by any standard.
Lecia Hicks
Veterinary Technician
Lecia joined us as an enthusiastic newcomer to veterinary medicine, diving right in with a true baptism by fire—finding her “tech legs” in an emergency clinic. She brought that grit and curiosity to North Bay in January 2024 and continues her learning journey in our exam rooms, helping patients achieve and maintain their healthiest lives.
When she’s off duty, Lecia can often be found outdoors with her dogs Vader and Kylo. Inside, a trio of feline supervisors—Leia, Rey, and Kenobi—stand ready for cuddles, while Nillie, a special canine guest, happily soaks up Lecia’s extra care. She may be a Star Wars fan… but the evidence is purely circumstantial.
Lecia enjoys riding the North Bay rollercoaster, knowing that even on the toughest cases, her team has the skill, support, and heart to navigate the highs and lows together—always aiming for the best possible outcomes.

Katrina Kepran
Manager
Katrina aspired to join the animal health industry since her youth. While staying home with her two children during their preschool years, she undertook a challenging educational program to help her achieve this goal. She completed her Animal Behavioral College internship with North Bay Animal Hospital in Spring 2013 and happily became an official part of the North Bay family in January 2014.
